China planning for sustainable cities

Say what you will about the PRC (and there's plenty to say) , but they at the very least seem to be acknowledging the issue of peak oil and making preparations for it.

Man , time is flying. I've decided to confine my personal ramblings to the Travel Journal area now seen at the bottom of the menu. Also , new links all over the place. And the longer pages still look jacked up. Still unsure what to do about that.

Talkspot is a really excellent free hosting service , and has made the creation of this site infinitely
 easier.

However , it grants you very little control over the layout of your page. Basically , you have a bunch of generic templates to choose from.

I had settled on this template a while ago , but apparently they've been tweaking it lately. So for awhile there we had headache-inducing white-on-grey text , and now apparently the borders are all out of whack and text is spilling over the edges.

Unfortunately there's not much I can do about these things , except maybe switch to some other
 templates and see how they work out. Sorry about the page looking all jacked up buds. I'll figure something out to make it more presentable.
